Named after an historical surveyor’s geographic marker overlooking our vineyard, Glen Garvald wines represent Levantine Hill’s varietal and replanting response to climate change.
Each wine is a product of winemaker Paul Bridgeman’s uncompromising craftsmanship, using fruit exclusively sourced from our Maroondah Highway vineyard. These wines are unbound by recent convention. Instead, using varietals hitherto uncommon to the region and a marriage of new and old techniques and exciting blends, Glen Garvald represents our very own historical marker for the future of modern winemaking in the Yarra Valley.
“Glen Garvald sees the possible, probable and hopeful new direction for wines we can make in the Yarra Valley for the future. The canvas is blank… And hopefully you will feel a sense of adventure and discovery as we have…
Our new winery is an absolute game-changer for Levantine Hill. In a game of inches when it comes to winemaking, this custom-designed production and maturation space will gain us metres, and take our quality and mission to produce world-class wines that rival our international counterparts, to the next level.”
